Course Description
This 1-day course is designed for North Oil Qatar Non-Electrician staff and provides information on electrical legislation applicable to NOC assets, general concepts of electrical safety, voltage ranges, risks, electrical authorization, means or protection, documentation and procedures to follow in the event of a fire.
What certificate will i receive?
GSS certificate valid for 2 years.
Notice and pre-drafted title sent to the employer allowing him to issue the electrical accreditation title (recommended period of validity according to NF C 18-510: 3 years)
What is the duration of the course?
Theoretical part in person (1 day)
What are the entry requirements?
Learners must be able to:
- differentiate between electrical quantities, such as current, voltage, resistance, power, AC and DC
- Identify protective devices against direct and indirect contact,
- Identify electrical equipment in its environment (function: separation, protection, control, etc. .),
- Read an electrical diagram and recognize equipment from their symbols
What does the course cover?
Electrical operations in low and high voltage (HTA) in safety
How is the course assessed?
Theoretical learning is assessed via 60 Minuite written examination.
