Course Description
This course has been specifically designed for North Oil Company personnel who intend to act, or supervise those actings as Fireguards and Fire Watchers.
What certificate will i receive?
Upon successful completion of the course learners will be awarded with a NOC Approved Certificate, valid for 2 years.

What is the duration of the course?
The optimum ‘contact time’ for this training programme is seen as 4 hours or 0.5 days
What are the entry requirements?
There are no pre-requisites for the Fire Watch / Fire Guard course.
What does the course cover?
This course is to equip the learner with the knowledge, understanding and skills to enable them to perform the role of a Fire Watch / Fire Guard.
How is the course assessed?
Learners will be assessed on the following sections through written test and observation of practical exercises:
1. Fire Watch
2. Hot Work
3. Hot Work Habitats
4. Fire
5. Practical: Firefighting Equipment.
