Course Description
This programme is designed for all new entrants to the Fire and Rescue Service, Civil Defence or Oil and Gas Industry, (or those wishing to apply) with the foundation knowledge, skills and understanding.
The course is designed to meet the NFPA 1001 and NFPA 1072 “Job Performance Requirements (JPR)” (2019) for fire fighter whose duties are primarily structural in nature.
What certificate will i receive?
This course can be delivered at any one of our training centres or onsite at the clients location. However, prior to any courses being delivered remotely, approval must be provided by GSS. Contact us for more information.

No pre-requisites are required.
- Duration
Training contains physically demanding and potentially stressful elements. All personnel who participate in such training must be medically fit and capable of participating fully. Delegates must either:
1. Possess a valid operator-approved medical certificate; or
2. Complete a GSS medical screening form prior to attendance.

- The aims of this course is to provide you with the skills and knowledge required to perform fire fighter operations utilizing appropriate equipment, methodologies, protocols, and patient and resource management techniques.
