Course Description
ECITB Mechanical Joint Integrity IMJI10-20 course is a comprehensive course that concentrates on the skills to perform various MJI techniques using a range of equipment.
Learners will gain the skills required to dismantle, inspect, prepare, assemble, and tighten flanged and clamped connector pipe joints and bolted connections using hand torque, hydraulic torque equipment, and hydraulic tension equipment.
What certificate will i receive?
ECITB International MJI Stage 1 Training Certificate.
ECITB training certificates are valid for 12 Months.
Learners progressing to technical testing have 1 year from the completion of this course to complete their technical test.
What is the duration of the course?
The optimum ‘contact time’ for this training programme is seen as 2.5 consecutive days.
What are the entry requirements?
There are no prerequisites for ECITB Mechanical Joint Integrity course.
What does the course cover?
Learners completing an ECITB Mechanical Joint Integrity (IMJI10, IMJI11, IMJI18, IMJI19 and IMJI20) training course will be able to;
• Have the knowledge to ensure intended tasks conform to related specifications, methods, processes, techniques and procedures
• Have to knowledge of dismantling techniques, inspection of components, alignment techniques and clamp connectors as well as assembly and tightening techniques in specialist critical bolting
How is the course assessed?
To be competent, Learners will be required to complete the ECITB ITMJI Technical Tests associated with the IMJI modules being undertaken. Learners have one year to complete their technical test after the completion of this course.
